CitiLink Deliveries Grrrrr.....

Options
I ordered something via Quidco last week and received an email to at the weekend to say that the goods would be delivered on 7 Jan - unfortunately, I was out all day from 6.15am until 7.30pm so a card was left saying that the goods would be delivered today. Thankfully, my new employers gave everyone the day off today so I stayed in and waited and waited. At 4.45pm I telephoned the Citilink Office and received an automated message giving me the telephone number of the depot - so I rang that, I was told by the chap on the phone that they stop delivering items at 5.30pm and so he checked on his computer and told me that the goods were on the van and would be delivered tonight.

Needless to say, no goods and no delivery so I was thus forced again to ring Citilink who have tried to say that the goods had been delivered and signed for - I explained that I hadn't received the goods and that I had been waiting in all day then I got a load of waffle about how they would have to wait for the delivery driver to hand in his paperwork at the depot...bla bla bla. I have asked that the goods be delivered tomorrow and one of my neighbours will take the parcel in for me - unless I am in of course. I just hate Citilink because their drivers have a tendency to lie - I have waited in before and just received a card saying that they had been - no one rang my bloomin' bell:mad:

Oh how I dread ordering stuff on line to have it delivered by Citilink - sorry for venting but they are just so maddening and think that the world owes them a favour.

I chose not to buy from companies who use Citilink, they're OK if you live near a depot but for most of the country that'll be 50 miles away.
