Flight advice needed, due to strike action on friday 1st July

Hi there,
Myself and my family are flying out to Paris on Friday 1st July from Newcastle with Easyjet. Apparently there is going to be some sort of strike action, and I'm worried we might miss our connection as I have booked TGV train tickets from the airport to Disneyland Paris.
Can anyone advise? I've emailed Easyjet, but have had no response. I have insurance with the Halifax too, just for the record!!
Cheers in advance,
Hels

You don't say who is going to strike.....did you hear if it is baggage handlers or air traffic control etc. Hopefully, Easyjet will answer your queries, if not ring another airline that flies to Paris, BA or Air France. If it is ATC striking, airlines are usually told in advance so that they can prepare for disruption. (Usually by cancelling flights). Your airline should know. I really hope you don't any problems.0

As I just posted in another thread, as long as you have insurance you have nothing to worry about. The worst possible case scenario would be that you'd have to buy replacement train tickets when you arrive and then claim for them when you get home.0
