Avoid MBNA credit cards

I had a MBNA Conran Credit card which promised cashback (see countless websites e.g. http://www.cashbackguru.com/conran-credit-card.php ). The credit card was closed down all of a sudden last year and, to cut a long story short, I have robbed out of receiving cashback on the card that I used for months.
I have literally wasted hours trying to get the cashback, but MBNA have come up with every excuse in the book, going so far as to explain on seven seperate occaisions that the Conran card never offered cashback or revenue share of the company in the first place. I told them to check on dozens of websites, but they refuse to listen to logic!
I have never witnessed such appalling customer service in my life, just being passed from pillar to post with not one person willing to take responsibility.
What MBNA have done to me is basically take the money they promised. It's in the Terms and Conditions of the credit card. You know the word for that :mad:
They have not responded to my written complaint, which the FSA told me they are legally obliged to, and I am now in the process of initiating legal action.
