I've seen loads of actions on ebay like this one http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Mens-Italian-FITTED-Floral-Shirt-Black-Blue-M-A09_W0QQitemZ350010866024QQihZ022QQcategoryZ313QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
And no i'm not after buying the shirt
How do you do actions like this?
To make them look more professional
Thanks

click on the link just above the counter...where it says hosted by auctiva. It's free and easy to use

A little bit of time in MS Front Page can create something like this.
http://www.brysker.com/EbayPics/ebaytemplate.htm
The text is laid out out in a few tables, the images uploaded to a photohosting site, then embedded in the listing. A little bit of code behind the pictures makes them enlarge into the main picture.
Much more customisable than using Auctiva!<--- Nothing to see here - move along --->0 -
Thanks for the replys

If Anyone likes that template, I've made it into a really easy to use format at...

No need for Frontpage. All you need is some web space to host your photos.

Be aware that this sort of auction listing may well put off a lot of buyers. I would have to really want the shirt before I would read through all the "small print" on the site. And yes, I do always read the complete listing before I bid, in order to make sure that it isn't a scam, selling just an empty box or a photo of the item.wigan_rl_till_i_die wrote: »How do you do actions like this?

Also, a lot of eBay buyers prefer to buy from "amateurs" rather than professional retailers, so making your auction look too professional may lose you potential buyers.
Personally what I want in a listing is good photographs and a full description of the item. Anything else is unnecessary.

I use auctiva because of the super size photos, sometimes I use a template but the ability to upload lots of big photos is the best thing for me and its easy to use.0
