I havent posted on here for a while.
I have been meaning to change supplier for ages as i know i could get a better deal, im currently with swalec (i think!) i know Martin says dont switch at the moment, but i had a call from e-on to say if i go to them now, i can get their current price capped before they increase (which they probably will), and it is a lower monthly payment, and i can go online each month to update my usage so get accurate bills, and i get a 2% discount for doing this, and another 2% discount for something else but cant remember what.
What should i do?
Thanks in advance

Hello, I thought I should clarify as I have a pretty good knowledge of the tariffs since I work for EON.
Firstly (regardless of what the agent told you), you won't get a 2% online discount with the capped tariff. The 2% discount only applies to the 'online' tariffs, that aren't capped.
If you have Dual Fuel and pay by DD however you will get a 9% discount on each quarterly statement.
The capped prices isn't a bad idea at the moment, no price rises announced and I'm in the dark as you are but the news predicts it so hey.0
