Hello x
Thanks for everyones help picking my camcorder - have bought one this morning. Very excited.
Its a DVD camcorder - so now all I need to know is what is the best way to copy the data to other dvd's so I can send footage to family members?
Should I go out and buy a dvd recorder or a dvd recorder drive for my laptop?
Thanks x

If you are after simplicity then I would go for a stand-alone DVD recorder (remember to get one with firewire link). You can then use the recorder to record from your TV as well and if in the future you are looking at some movie editing beyond the basic functions of standalone recorders then just stick the DVD into your computer and edit further.Do I want it? ......Do I need it? ......What would happen if I don't buy it??????0
