Many thanks OP, not only have I managed to book a 2p return flight, but used it to activate my new Barclaycard Oyster credit card so I can claim the free £25 they are giving away (see Credit Cards board). A true MSE experience!!! :beer:0

Is it possible to check in bags when at the airport (at a cost) if you select '0 bags / Internet checkin'?
The £14 charge to checkin one bag is a little OOT.0 -

It's cheaper to do it at time of booking (on-line) than it is once you get to the airport.

£14.02 for a return flight is still, IMHO, a bargain!0 -

Quite right but I've booked a return flight for 2 @ 0.04p. If it turns out we can't make it then its no big loss. We could probably fit a fair amount into hand luggage anyway. Ryanair also let you take a 'laptop bag' onboard which can also fit a quite a lot in. ;-)It's cheaper to do it at time of booking (on-line) than it is once you get to the airport.

I lived in Florence for a year and so learnt how to play the system (having been stung for excess luggage when moving out there).0 -
