Thanks for looking and any help that you can give me.
Am thinking of going to the Domaine de Litteau caravan site in Normandy but am a bit worried that the camp has just changed their name (from l'orree de bois or something like that!) and have not seen any reviews for this park does anyone know if this is a quiet park and not any rowdy noise or behaviour in the wee small hours? Also what is the standard of thier accomodation like ?Thanks again.....

Hi Sukysue, my wife saw your post when she was working on Martin’s money makeover! I work for siblu, the company that now owns Domaine de Litteau, so I hope you don’t mind me replying.

We bought the parc in the early part of 2007 and changed the name (it was suggested by the mayor). We’re investing in the facilities (we’ve improved the pool, built new pitches and so on) but the parc is still small and secluded. The bar’s very small and cosy, so this isn’t a holiday parc with a loud nightlife. We provide mobile home accommodation and our homes are new, big and very comfy.

Calvados is a beautiful part of the world and you’re within easy reach of Bayeux, the beaches and Caen (the old town is great fun and I can recommend some fantastic restaurants). There’s lots more information on the siblu website, but if it helps I can arrange for you to speak with one of the managers – they’ll answer any questions you have.

Aw Thanks very much Dan it was very kind of you to bother to write a reply to me I am very grateful ! It looks as if this camp will indeed be our manna from heaven holiday this year as we like the quiet life! Not antisocial or anything but just like a family holiday where there will be no rowdy behaviour and bad language. I realise some ppl wil think we are boring !!Thanks again to your wife too who spotted this.

Like you I was looking for a review on the Domaine de Litteau but couldn’t find any, I was wondering if you have been yet and would you recommend it? We also like quiet relaxing holiday.

Yes I would recommend it we went there the beginning of June and it was very quiet clean and comfortable just as we like it and as Dan described thanks again Dan. Hope you have as nice a time as we did if you decide to go .

We're hoping to spend the Easter holidays here, travelling around lower Normandy. I'm a bit concerned when i read there's going to be a big development though, was there any sign of building work going on? Do you think we'll end up on a different 'feeling' site then you stayed on if we go at Easter?

I am going in August something to do with the £25 deposit and pay in june :-) I hope its ok, I dont really want much just somewhere not too busy. I wanted Normandy to give the kids some culture lol.
