Do you mean they shattered?! That doesn't sound good, I would go back to the store and put in a complaint, I've never had one shatter when it's gone. It's not fit for purpose and a hazard.

Very unusual for lamps to explode. I would go to trading standards if I were you. These lamps could be an extreme danger in certain circumstances.
What make are they ?.0 -
morrisons own make, i took the 6 back yesterday 3 were smashed and they gave me 3.98 back went to b and q and got 6 and they costed me over 15 pounds....
just going to leave it at that but they were the screw in r80s from morrisons there own make, cheap but they are a danger...........Treat everyday as your last one on earth! and one day you will be right.:D0 -
That is not good enough, Morrisons is usually a good place to shop, but just refunding your money on a product that has shown a serious hazard risk is criminal.
You should write to their head office stating what has happened, your inconvenience and cost of returning the faulty items, plus the fact that you and your family have been endangered through the danger of high-level flying glass splinters (eyesight is very precious) and the possiblility of a fire being started in your home (life even more precious).
This item should be withdrawn from sale imho, as a safety precaution.
Lets hope the very expensive onesfrom B&Q fare better.
These General Electric ones cost £2.50 for two including postage.Moi....?

Loates & Sarah, I urge you to talk to Trading Standards before someone gets seriously hurt.0
