https://www.blogger.com/
allows you to start your own blog/website. Simple user interface and plenty of templates to choose from.0 -
heart internet offer free webspace too, and with no adverts. Lots of free templates too.
Limited bandwidth though, but its not a bad starting point0 -
Microsoft office live is a good free service. You get no adverts, a proper .com / .co.uk address, plus a free fiver if you do it through Quidco.

Is that microsoft service free? It asks for credit card details etc. I didnt think it would be neccessary, or does it expire after a certain period of time....Not very good with stuff like this need help!!!!0 -
Might be an idea if you gave us some idea of what the purpose of the page is?
Diffrent options are better for diffrent kinds of projects?0 -
It's for a wedding car so basically hiring the car and driver for the wedding transport its a classical beuford. Also looking you know to do things like proms where people like to have fancy cars or any purpose occassions.
Just don't know where to start. Gonna try and get some buisness cards sorted too.0 -
Easiest option, and one I've been through:
A 'www.yourname.co.uk' domain will cost you £2.79 a year from 123reg, once you've purchased this - Jamroll will provide you with 300MB free webspace and 5GB bandwidth (should be enough for the type of site you've described) for free. I currently use them myself and have had no major problems at all, they've got features that many paid hosts don't have and they have an excellent support community in their forums.
Next thing you'll need to do is actually set up the site, I highly recommend that you use a free CSS template from OpenDesigns (some beautiful designs there) which also has an excellent forum with people willing to help. CSS/XHTML based templates are also very easy to edit.
This site gives you excellent advice on where to get quality business cards at a good value-for-money price.
If you need any more assistance with the website stuff, please feel free to PM/reply to this thread. A website, if well designed can really help to boost your business."To be or not to be......that is the question"

Heart internet are horrible!
I bought a hosting package off ebay for unlimited for a one off fee for a year, (wasnt expecting to get a full year as they normally go down or something)
anyway, they seemed good, they then transfered the service to heart internet to make it better, nothing to change, all files there and so on,
Now (3 month later) i keep getting emails saying failed payment and i owe them £30something.Things that are free in life are great, well most of the time :beer:0 -

Do let me know, I have a site with them and don't want to start paying for it!"If a man says something, but there is no woman to hear him, is he still wrong?"0
