MSE meet in Edinburgh, end of August

Those of you who read the Scotland board will have read of Toozies' upcoming trip to Edinburgh

It would be nice to have an MSE meet during this time for MSE users new and old. The last meet was held in a family pub in the afternoon just outside of Edinburgh but as Toozie and her family are staying in the centre of town during the Festival I thought it might be an idea to meet for a drink in the evening and do the Murder and Mystery Tour with them later that they are thinking about doing. I could maybe swing a discount for a party booking, in good MSE style and obviously as this is during the Festival I would need to know numbers and book in advance.

I mentioned this to Pink-winged last night and in true Irish tradition she immediately said yes :rotfl:maybe she could persuade Ivan to come over too?

I think to start I will set up a poll to see how many people might be interested then we can actually set a date and see what interest there is in a drink and tour, or just a drink. Let me know what you think as well as voting. The dates would be 31st August or 1st September.

I meant to enable people to "vote" twice and I don't think I have. Anyway, if people could vote now as to if they are interested and I'll set up another poll if we get sufficient interest.

I would love to come, but can only manage September 1st because my children all go back to school on the 31st. My son starts his new school on that day and I just have to be there!

If it is 1st September, then I'll be happy to go along with what everyone else wants to do.

Bring some of those friends and colleagues with you and I will soon convert them to cheaper Telephony :rotfl:
