Balance Transfer Question (Natwest deal)

I presently have 400 pounds on my Natwest card (250 pounds of which is on a 0% Christmas Dept stores deal due to end Feb 21st). I just received a letter from Natwest offering 5.9% pa on a long-term balance transfer deal (lasting until all is repaid)...the 5.9% deal expires jan.31st.

I had some months ago applied for a PO credit card and transferred 1500 from my natwest card to it at its 0% bal. transfer introductory rate. This PO bt deal expires in 4 months. I don't use the PO credit card for spending at all.

Is it 'wise' for me to pay off 150 pounds now and carry forward the 250 at 0% to February, and pay that off then; apply for the 5.9% and then transfer the PO sum back to Natwest? I cant clear the natwest card all off before jan 31st. I am hoping that that it will be okay to do the transfer now provided that I pay off the 250 in february.
