Saved £90 this week thank you!

I put off for 4 weeks phoning round for house insurance quotes as I was sure my renewal quote was expensive. Thank goodness for MSE as I suddenly remembered to have a look for Martin's top advice and as a result I paid £90 less than I thought I needed to.

Of course I've now gone and spent £90+ on an exercise bike!

So thank you Martin :T

Having read Martin's recent article about how to save money on H&C insurances,I've managed to save around 80 pounds for the same level of cover by switching to Halifax insurance.

I'm with Halifax insurance for contents and Building. I pay £395.00 for it, but for the same insurance with Halifax on-line its £341. Quite a saving. I spoke to them on phone yesterday. They told me to take out a new policy on-line and there's no problem of cancelling the old one.

I've saved £200 on a plasma TV and then managed to wangle an upgraded model amp for the same price as the lower model.
Bad part is i've spent 3k in the space of 2 weeks
