A CAPITAL idea

I got a "You have been pre-selected ......."
offer today.

It said among other things

"You can transfer balances from higher rate credit cards ..."
But I want to transfer from equal rate (0%) credit cards where the 0% will expire shortly.

Hmmm.

I guess they are just saying this to appeal to their main audience. I doubt they have the facilities to check what interest rate you are paying on your current debt. So you should be OK :)

It does not matter what the rate on your current card is, its just a sales pitch to the 99% of the audience with outstanding balances on rates greater than 0%
