Evening All,
Just a quick one. Bought Wii from Gamestation in December 2006 for kids in time for Xmas.
Come home from work today to find Wii faulty. Apparently it made some funny noises before locking up completely. I've had a look myself, there is power but the 'power' & 'reset' buttons do not respond when pressed. The 'eject' button works but there is no picture displayed on screen.
what are my condumer rights? DO I take it back to Gamestation or do I get in touch with Nintendo?
I'm looking for the receipt but no joy yet, although I do have a bank statement with the transaction showing.
As ever, any and all help gratefully appreciated.
Regards,
Patrick.

Have you tried unplugging it and just leaving it like you would if a Computer crashes?
We just had the same thing happen and I bought it in 2006 the same as you.
Son just unplugged it from the wall and left it 24 hours and it is fine now.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
