Cheap family of 4 AI Holiday from Edin/Glas in Oct

Hi, all looking for some help/advise, pointers.

Needing a break away with the kid in the school holidays, for one week inbetween the following dates 15th-30th Oct.

I'm looking for a cheap All Inclusive holiday , kid friendly (Female 11, Male 7) flying from either Edinburgh or Glasgow.

I've looked around but the prices see to shoot up when i add kids to the criteria ie £200 jumps to £340!!!!

Anyone out there have any advise of how to get this down or where might be best to go? ie, any kids go free? etc

have you had a look in the late deals section of the globespan website..... https://www.flyglobespan.com ? I had a very quick look and there was an all inclusive 3 star hotel in salou which came up at £772 for four for a week starting 22nd october. There will are lots of options there to lots of different locations. I only checked Salou because it has the universal studio theme park near by....dont know if that was something you'd want to consider.

the other website I have used before is https://www.discholidays.com They use air scotland flights from Glasgow and Edinburgh too. My mother in law was very fortunate..she got a 4* AI to Torremolinos with them for £110 incuding transfers!

sorry just tried to get link and found a typo in my post....£772 was for thursday 20th oct.
Cant get link to work..... go to https://www.flyglobespan.com
In late deals box top right....select glasgow/edinburgh for departure airport, then destination costa dorada, month October. That will bring up a huge table of all the flights in october. At the top of the table you can change destination to other costas or majorca etc.....

hope you find something suitable. There are two AI hotels coming up. I have no idea if they are any good but you could check on holiday truth websites. The £772 was for the hotel molinos park on the 20th october from glasgow. Friends from work are just back from a globespan holiday to costa brava and were happy with service although I havent used them myself.

yeah true budget flyer. The other thing i would watch for is go for a busier resort. A lot of smaller resorts have started closing down for winter season by that time. The voice of experience....week in north Ibiza with two kids and no ice cream shops open!

Any idea on how to find out what is classed as a busy resort?

Can some peeps chip in here if poss?

The more advise I can get the better chance I have of booking a good holiday. Most importantly is that there needs to be things for the kids to do...can't have them bored...

I recommended this all inclusive to someone on another thread. Puerto San Miguel Hotel in Ibiza. It is an excellent complex with really good entertainment, lots of activities (tennis, volleyball, table tennis), water sports (canoeing, windsurfing etc.) and its own beach. Several eating places, hotel restaurant, tapas bar, burger bar, Chinese restaurant. Child prices go up to 16. We went in October and the weather was great. The only downside is if you like shopping as it doesn't have a lot in the way of shops. It didn't bother us as shopping is not top of my list when on holiday. We really enjoyed it and are going back next summer.

I've was at ibiza in 2002, there wasn't much in the way for kids to do. Then again i was right at the west end and probably wasn't ware of kids activities.

I was there with my partner and me and basically it was just a sun/drink holiday for a week.

To be fair the only holiday i've had with the kids was at disney land paris so it's gonna be very hard to try and match that...lol

This will be our first try at an AI holiday.

Benidorm is busy all year round.Drink + food good and cheap outwith hotels and there is so much entertainment around that being confined to an AI may be a bit restrictive. Half board,or B+B might be better or even an apt.
