anyone experience of tiscali?

I've been tiscali member for ages for my broadband and my voice calls diverted through them (£17.99) whilst keeping my line with BT

recently had a letter from tiscali stating that for £20 a month they'll do my line rental too (just £2 more than what i am currently paying).

have given this a serious thought n wondered if other people had taken up on this and what tiscali are like. the website isn't too informative about whats available

I have caller display free from BT part of the free privacy @ home scheme, can tiscali do caller display too and if so does it cost extra? I dont mind losing the 1571 voicemail thing but wont be able to live without my caller display.

also anonymous call reject, again how much would that be, it just isn't metioned anywhere on the site

Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.

I'm in the middle of doing my upgrade to that package purely to get away from the ilk that pass themselves off as BT.

They have solved my problems faster than BT ever have and their call center staff are very good (seem to mainly be getting Liverpool when I phone) even the Indian call center understand English better than BT.

You do have to pay for caller ID, I belive its 49p a month. As for the rest I am not sure because I wasn't paying attention on that page. :o I also have the TV package included for the £20.
