Yellow PVC - Help

Hi,
My Mum and Dad just got their kitchen re-done, the only problem is that the builders have painted the back door surround white which now shows the pvc around the window to look yellow.
Does anyone know how to return the pvc window frame to white? Can it be painted or is there another method?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers,
Chris

It can be painted but use a upvc gloss, it'll bring it back to new.................you can try cleaning it but if it's yellowed with age .............paint it

I have used it a work on a job, great stuff, but i bought it from a upvc supplyer, not tried screwfix stuff.
What out as it can melt the upvc if left on to long, wipe on with 1 cloth and off with another, and good for getting tar marks off your bumpersA thankyou is payment enough .0 -
Brilliant! Thanks for all the posts. I think i'll try the restorer first - i can always paint it if it doesn't work!

I've tried upvc restorers before and whilst they've cleaned the upvc up very well, they've not lifted that yellowness.0 -
