Cahoot Sunny Day Saver (again)

Forgive me if a similar question has already been answered in an earlier post but I have been unable to find it…

I have two Sunny Day saver accounts. Both originally had a balance of £3K. One of the accounts received an interest payment in July 2026 which took the balance above the £3K maximum. Unfortunately this went unnoticed by myself until today. Now the interest rate on that account indicates 0%. Apparently this is to be expected because the interest rate shown reflects that applied to the balance above £3K. As I understand things, £3K is still earning 5%.

Today I transferred the interest out of the account into my Lloyds current account leaving £3K in the Sunny Day account. Following the transfer, I expected the indicated interest rate to change to 5%. However it still shows 0% - even after logging out and logging back in. Is that because there is a delay in the system or is it because of the second Sunny Day account? Should I wait a couple of days or close the account showing 0%?
