    Hi

Heres the link for snowball, dont worry it says $ but it stil, equates to £

what you needb4 you stat are:
the apr on each loan - amount owing
whether its fixed ie 48 months at £10 (usual loan)
put in your maximum that you can afford to pay
it does give you the option to pay the smallest debt first (could take longer, although good for motivation)
or ..... the sensible route pay the ones with the highest apr 1st
    x

If your pay is only £1000 a month are you entitled to any benefits? You can look on www.entitledto.co.uk for advice about this

Try calling your mobile provider and downgrading your usage!

Usually after 6 months the provider lets you change packages. It could save you a tenner a month!! ;)

Hi again sorry but the link was not in that message lol
Just got off of the phone with egg and even though i offered to pay the extra money to bring me under my limit they said that with next months charge for being over? i will get charged again. i couldnt work out why when being under my limit i can still get charged but he said that's the way it is and need to make a payment next month of £170 to bring it under my limit even though im only over by £50. So now im really confused
Think im gonna go down the reclaiming route for them, but if i do this would they shut the card down and demand final payment of the balance?.

Also spoke to the education loan people and sorted it a payment plan of £75 a month with out any added interest so that's a bonus.

Tomorrow i get to tackle natwest for this overdraft grrr all this and im trying to decorate and sort the house out for the lodger grrr..

    Thanks

Hi sorry if i come across as a bit kurt sometimes, just i have my good days and bad days with my illness and as such my pills don't allways work.

ok i have knocked my internet down to £21.99 a month and recieved a letter from my education company demanding final payment but for £1,569 which is strange so need to phone them in the morning to sort some kind of payment plan out.
As for bank charges i didnt think this was viable at the moment ? would be nice if it was as just got a charge for £500 , credit card charges i can do if i can be pointed in the right direction please, PPI they have just payed out for my 2 months of sickness so not sure if i can claim anything there.

On the topic of a lodger will i need to declare the extra income to anyone, also can anyone recommend a home insurance company that i can get with having a lodger mine doesn't allow them.

Also if you dont mind a link to the snowball calculator as i can't seem to find it at the moment.

    Thanks again
    Lok1

It falls well below the rent a room relief you get for tax purposes, so you won't be taxed on the income. Its an automatic relief which you have to opt out of so unless your rental income is more than this, don't have to get in touch with HMRC.

basically with egg as for any credit card, say 4 example your 100 over your limit, but the min payment is 2.5% then all they can put as your min is £50.00, and the charges will keep going on

If you have the statments you can check your own charges, otherwise you will need to write to them, using the templates from the site and enclsoing £10.00 cheque / postal order to cover there admin costs

the £170 there quoting, would be interest, charges and your minimum payment, basically if there is any way you could pay that amount and the next mth a bit over then that should bring you back into your limit, otherwise your playing dog chase the tail game.

Thats good news restudent loan, and internet, just tackle one debt issue at a time, and your soon be in a better position.

looks like it will be dog chasing his tail until i can get my lodger in then first months rent on credit card to bring it under the limit then work on my over draft.

any other ways you can think of that may increase my income bearing in mind that i work very strange shifts 4pm till 4 am most nights hence my strange posting hours lol

    Thanks

    I dont fancy your hours!!!

have you logged yourself on to click sites

    I use:
    Mutual Points
    Greasy Palm
    Quido

There nort much money but at the end of the year you could have £100 - £150 just be doing the clicks

Ebay - anything you can sell

Re debts - i know is sounds daft but if you can get the card brought under its limit, may take a couple of months - as its the charges that go on it.

I could suggets mystery shopping, but as your working then by the time youve accounted for tax, expenditure there not rally that worth it

    Hi again
Yes my hours are a bit poo but i see it as a means to an end towards my dream of living abroad.
Yes the way i see it is if i can get my card under it's limit and then just pay the minum fee plus a bit extra untill i can get my overdraft down and gone then that will stop nasty bank charges then work on the credit cards properly, how does that sound?

I will register on those sites as soon as i get in from work
I knew i forgot something i can't sell anything untill i pay ebay the money i owe them that's another £23 :o but i will sell anything i can get my hands on, so that will be most of my possessions then lol .

Any ideas about if i claim back charges for the credit cards if they will demand payment in full. ?

    Thanks
