Henry vac pipes coming off
It is my first Henry vacuum cleaner. Bought it reading good reviews about it.
Now I have a problem that its 3 part metal pipe extension are coming off from the middle while vacuuming carpet.
It is friction fitted - one pipe just goes into another. Seems like a bad design as in Dyson there was a clipping mechanism.
I wrote to Henry who simply adviced to push inside other pipe with force. I did and still coming off during use!
Quite disappointed. I thought UK made products would be better than Chinese made!
They could have easily designed with clipping (like Dyson) or screw threaded.

Gaffer tape.
And I believe it is against the rules to not show the cute face in any Henry photo.

I've used lots of Henrys and the problem is normally separating the bits that you have trouble with. Is one of the tubes something other than perfectly round? If it's slightly "off" there'll be less surface area to provide friction to the keep the two together. Try pushing them together AND TWISTING as you do so.

Yes, I have the opposite problem. Can’t always get the blasted things off.
All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have not could of.0 -
I also found it helps when you firmly push the tubes together that you twist as well.
