Many thanks to the OP for this one. Managed to pick up 10 bags(didn't want to be too greedy so left quite a few behind!) and a few scrubs, handed my voucher over and got 1500 points.

I can't believe it, have got £123 on my advantage card now! But as the amount goes up I get more worried about losing it!!

I was told by Boots to make a note of the phone number on the card and then if by any chance you lose the card you call them and quote name and address and they can stop anyone else using it and send you a replacement with all your points on. HTH

btw - I didn't ask for this info the SA was concerned that I might lose the points with so many on ;):):)

I spent all my boots points at the weekend so I cant wait to top my card up again. The problem I have is that my local store never has a machine that works :(

Fingers crossed it will be working today :j

i have had to have all my reciepts validated while waiting for my new card. will ALL my points be transfered over to new card when reciepts are put on???? i can still use old card in advantage machine so am getting the med vouchers. does anyone know if all my points will get transfered because i am a bit worried that anything i have bought and had the reciepts validated i wont get the points when i get my new card!

I got the voucher for the med collection from the machine on Sun but when I asked a boots person they said it only added on 100 points once whether you bought 1 med item or 7 in the transaction! How does this work then? Do the points just add on automatically? Some people have posted that they don't - and if so , then this Boots won't add them on manually as they say you're only entitled to 100 points max under this offer. Help!

bluep-I handed over 1 voucher and got 100 points for each item (ie 10 X 100pts)
it seems to be a bit of a lottery and depends on the branch/SA/till used?

I have been checking the points machines everytime i go to the town centre and have never been offered the med range points, I have called customer services today and they say that if you have purchased the product/range before then you will be offered the points on any further purchases.
They said the machines work based on your spending pattern, so will offer you rewards on items purchased before or departments ie if you purchased nappies you are more likely to be offered rewards on other items within the baby section.
I asked if i purchase something from the med range does that mean the machines will be updated and i will be offered the med range points and she said yes.
Cant get out today to try it out but it may work, maybe i could buy 1 gift bag and get the receipt validated just incase the machine then offers me the med points after and if it doesn't then i've still got a cheap gift bag
S'just a thought to all those who like me are fuming about not being offered these points at the machines

Well that certainly didn't work for me. I bought 2 of the bags last Sunday even although I hadn't got the voucher on my card. Have checked the Advantage machine several times since and still no voucher. Maybe if the offer comes on again sometime then I'd get the voucher but not in the middle of a promotion. That's just my opinion, anyway.
    If I had known then what I know now . . .

What I have done as it is hit and miss (or seems to be?) with handing over the voucher I print off two vouchers....buy two bags hand over one voucher and when I get my reciept I look how many extra points I got, if it was 200 then obviously I got the 100 per bag. So with the other voucher I get whatever I like (or whats left) and buy them.
The way I look at it is, I know I have to do two purchases but if it only gives me 100 points then I have paid 64p for two bags and got a pound back in points...at worst case senerio :) and if it gave me the 200 then on I shop :)
    Hope that makes sense :)
