I went into Glasgow city centre today to check out the Boots stores.
    1. Boots Sauchiehall street gave me a med voucher and as they had some face masks left I bought them up couldn't locate any gift bags though. I spent £6.91 and was given 600 points.
    2. Boots Buchanan Galleries gave me a med voucher and they had loads face masksso I bought 6 and 2 foot sprays and soap. Total spend £9.59 and I was given 900 points...The lady on the till duly noticed this and said that was a good deal!!!
3.Boots St Enoch Centre had loads of stuff so I got another voucher and bought 6 shampoos @ £1.32 ea another foot spray however when Igot to the till I only got 100 points on an £8.59 spend so I don't know if the bubble has burst on this one ..I didn't want to argue with the girl as I hadn't had a bad day. I'll certainly keep my eyes peeled for anything like this in future....

I think that the shampoos and conditioners do not give you 100 points as I did not receive 100 points when I bought 1 conditioner with a 100 points machine voucher.
I had to go to the pharmacy to have 100 points manually added!

If your store has more than one machine try your card in all the machines as they do sometimes give differant offers.

i put my card in today - no med voucher, no points on a meal deal. i remembered what you said, thought surely it can't work because all the machines will be linked to some central computer somewhere - but it did work! the second machine gave me a med voucher and 25 points on a meal deal!! woohoo! i bought 15 bags, they were in the wrong section, with the natural collection bags. i also bought some toner, it's chamomile, sage and orange flower, 200ml. it was reduced to £1.32 with the third off, so it costs a bit more than a pound but i thought it would go well with the face masks, make a present of 2 face masks and a toner in an orchid bag and i still make a profit lol! so i bought 4 toners, i now have 8 masks and 4 toners so that's 4 christmas gifts, teachers gifts, birthday gifts or whatever in lovely bags.

i got a copy of the new mag today too, the intuition voucher wasn't any good because they don't have any £3 voucher packs, but there was a 50 points when buying a delicious sandwich coupon, so i bought my meal deal with that and also used the 25 points coupon from the machine. an excellent shop, more back in points than i'd spent.

by the way if anyone has an elizabeth arden counter in their boots page 21 of the mag says that from 6th july you can pick up a 5ml sample of 8-hour cream.

I got more med items today but nothing under £1. Did get some great sales stuff though and if you join the parenting club you get 500 points if you have a baby aged 3 months -2 years and free pampering kit if you are under 28 weeks pregnant. I made all this info up and you can unsubscribe to the club at any time.

I went to our Boots at the Kingsgate Retail Park yesterday ( East Kilbride), they had loads of bags left, but everything else was well over a pound, anything that was reduced, tubes of face packs etc were a pound too. Got 11 bags and a foot soak at £1.99. I had to print off 11 coupons and the till would only add on my bonus points 100 per transaction so they all had to be put through seperately..... assistant wasn't too chuffed - spent £5.20, and 1100 points which was brill - nothing to put in the bags yet but will keep looking. Thanks for the tip and the photo!! :T :T :T
No Longer addicted to Boots! - Well not today anyway!! :blushing:
