Boots Mediterranean Range 100 extra points [CLOSED]

I am very proud to say that this was the first MSE loophole I've been able to exploit.

I took myself off to Boots yesterday, I printed out 10 vouchers from the machine, picked up 10 gift bags at 32p each and toddled off to the till. I told the lady I wanted to pay for each bag individually and claim 100 points each time. The cashier stared at me and then said "You can't do that!" I asked why and she said "It has to be a product from the Med range, this is a bag" I calmly pointed out that the bag was part of the range and so she said she'd have to check. She returned in defeat and bowed to my demands!

HOOOOORRRRAAAYYYYYYYYY!!!!! :j

So I spent £3.20 and got £10 worth of points: £6.80 profit! Wahey! I'm gonna try and get another 10 tomorrow.

After using a voucher yesterday at one store and recieving 500points and products all with a third off I went to another one nearer to me today but both advantage card machines were not working and the staff wouldn't accept a spare voucher that I printed yesterday. So I phoned the advantage card customer support and the very nice man gave me 1000 points as an apology. So I got £10 for spending nothing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Worth a phone call if anyone else has problems. The number is 08451 24 45 45.

can you find out on line which stores have the machines? only its 20 mile round trip for me to get to the bigger stores so was wondering

Good on you!!! But you do realise that you don't need to make it so obvious???

You can just buy 50 orchid bags all in one go - and just hand over one 100 point voucher.... And you'll get 50x100=5000 points (£50). Their tills calculate it out this way - cool eh?

Didn't work like that in my Boots! At first it didn't even add the 100 extra points. Had I not checked the reciept I'd not have got ANY extra points at all!!!
I had to do seperate transactions on each item and the assistant hated it. So she'd have died if I'd put through 10..........LOL
They had loads of the products (no bags) under £1, but I only had 3 vouchers from the machine.

Just been down to both Bradford Boots - and the med voucher isn't being offered to me (or a friend of mine) any more - I've tried 3 machines all at 12:30 lunchtime.

Can anybody confirm if this offer is still working for them?

Edit: Spoken to another friend - and they've been offered the voucher at Keighley store - weird!!!

i went to boots today as my proper card arrived this morning, no med voucher for me thou, but my mate got some so it worked fine except it didnt add the points so the supervisor was called she didnt look very happy to add my 1800 points thou

still working in leeds too- got 13 bags but nothing else under £1, which is a shame as was gonna fill bags up & give to next charity coffee morning at Church! they will just have to sell the bags on their own!

Picked up another 12 bags from my secret stash today.

He did have to go out the back for them tho.

Its definately worth asking if there are none on show.
