Shallots
Bit odd but a light bulb moment for me.
Peeling shallots for second time this week (moules marininere & today prawn linguine) don't do regularly but done many times over the years.
Bought the bulb ones rather than banana because reduced on clubcard, what a shocker to peel, I know this from experience!
About 40p saved.
We still save money,why? More than enough to retire but…
had the big R discussion again today (instigated by shallots) but both agreed love our jobs too much.
