Breezy with showers this morning but much calmer than we've had for a while.

Ruby - I can't find the right words to say how angry I feel, love and hugs to you and OH.

Must dash, friend's DD needs a lift with me this morning.

Ruby - well done you for rising above the drama, I’m sure your MiL will have a lovely send off. Best wishes to you and OH.

Well I managed both a decent walk, and some tidying in the garden yesterday, emptied some summer bedding pots, washed them and refilled with compost and spring bulbs. Lots more to do. I also managed to draft a pattern for a new sewing project, another one to do x that will give me an excuse to pop into the fabric shop when I’m passing tomorrow.

DM sees the oncologist this morning so will see what the state of play is. I have suggested a quick trip to a supermarket afterwards - but at the moment this will require her to be in a wheelchair (I borrowed one months ago ‘just in case’) so will see how willing she is.

Wish we would hear from TA - it’s been a couple of weeks.

morning everyone thanks for the start scarlet I’m off out to a cleaning job in a minute the lady who I went to yesterday is very poorly now I was determined I wasn’t going back after yesterday as it’s so upsetting to see and I had a quiet word with her about leaving her just to have some peace and not have me flitting about making a nuisance of myself she was having a laugh at me but she was adamant she wants me to keep going I think it might be another week she’s not eating now and she wouldn’t have a cuppa just water she goes to the chapel and the vicar was going up to see her yesterday afternoon it’s just so sad . AA we seem to be missing a few TA and SO it would be nice if we could hear from them just to know they are alright I sometimes think people think they have nothing to say I have a boring everyday life but it feels like a chat when you pop in here . It’s dull and drizzly here but at least the winds dropped. Thinking of all the poorlies hugs to those that need them have a good day everyone whatever you are doing

Cloudy and dry here, yesterday was still a windy day. Today I'm going with DH to the station of tool, he needs yet something or other. It means I can have a perusal in Morries, not that we need much, just see if there's any bargains to be had. Chinese and bbq chicken wings tonight with coleslaw and garlic bread.

Redruby, why is it funerals bring out the worst in families? I speak from experience here. The main thing is you and your OH are giving his mum a good send off. Feel free to vent on here.

Izzy, it's so sad about your lady, but it sounds like she enjoys your company and you are cheering up her last days.

I'm also missing TA and SO, hope you're both ok.

I am taking DDad to see his SIL today and it’s a 2 hour drive each way into south west London. Not relishing it tbh as he’s not the best navigator! Easy sausages, mash and cauliflower cheese when we get back.

I bought bulbs yesterday @AlwaysAllie but mine are for a newly cleared bed. Hope to get those in on Friday when I’m home alone.

That must be hard @IzzyBee x

Drumroll please…we slept in our bedroom last night for the first time since 1 August. Not 100% finished (no bedside lights/wardrobe handles) but getting there. It’s been a hard slog.

To those who have been missing - please come on and tell us your news, we miss you xx

Morning all

Dry and bright here but very chilly this morning, I am off to mums for a couple of hours this morning and then onto my new person this afternoon, we have a meeting with the care providers this morning as well.

Thank you again for all the good wishes ❤️ it means such a lot, OH has gone back to work this morning but I’ve told him if it gets too much to come home, I am still waiting for a call from the hospital Dr and can’t do anything else till after that, we have heard nothing from OH’s sister which is a blessing tbh.

Dinner tonight will be fish pie with some veg, dd is off today so she will probably make it ready to heat through later.

Izzy your lady probably finds comfort with you being there, I hope she passes peacefully when the time comes xx

Thinking of TA and hoping all is ok xx

Up early today as we are going back to Kent for a flying visit.

Ruby I'm glad DH has you, as Remmie says these things bring out the worst in people. Sending you both hugs.

Coxy great news about the bedroom hope your day out goes ok.

Izzie so sad to hear about your lady but she may like seeing a familiar face, hugs to you as well.

Allie hope DM appointment goes ok.

Another one worried about TA, it is most unlike her.

I don't post every day but I always read along, it's lovely to keep up with everyone's news.

it’s dry here this morning ,makes a change

Had another lousy night so will no doubt be dropping off this afternoon

Going to a talk about a local famous jam making place,( they have royal warrents ) been told we get free samples too

Then out for lunch celebrating two birthdays in our group

Will sleep this afternoon .

Will try and hoover before I go ,my cleaner comes fortnightly so try to keep on top of it in between

Worried about TA and her daughter .

Morning again, it's dull here and has just started to rain.

Ruby, hope you don't hear any more from sister in law. What an awful woman.

Your visits to that lady will bring her comfort Izzy.

Dp1, it's so sad that your brother has moved away without seeing your parents, he may come to regret it one day. I know that's no comfort though.

I'm going to nip out for bread and eggs this morning, no doubt I'll think of other things as well.

Thoughts to the sad and poorly today, also TA, hope she's ok.

Morning folks and apologies for going AWOL. I'm ok, just taking time away for personal reasons. I didn't realise I would have you worried about me. And DD is ok too, just awaiting the start of her radiology treatment on the 10th Nov.
