I have an additional driver on my car insurance who has sadly passed away.

Should I inform my car insurance company?

They have never actually driven my car and were never going to.

Does your insurance charge admin fees for making changes? If it does then i suspect most would "forget" to do it until renewal comes around where it wont cause any additional charge for changing

I don't see any need to. You weren't promising that they would ever drive the car.
