What would I be concealing? I’ve never been asked during an application whether I am concurrently applying to credit products before, and I’m not fraudulently misrepresenting myself in any way.

Really? Then what is the reason for making concurrent CC applications if not to conceal your actual credit status? Sounds like misrepresentation to me.
Why not make them sequentially?
In any case, this is all rather hypothetical - I don't think that the systems are quite as simplistic as you believe, and if a card issuer believes that there was misrepresentation after the fact they can always revoke the card or reduce the credit limit.
