Hello everyone
I'm enjoying some quiet as little lad is having a nap, I've had him since Thursday night until teatime on Monday - DD has taken little one away for the weekend. He's easy to look after, he spends a lot of time crawling up and down the hallway, peeping round the living room door with a big smile and a hiya.
We went down to see mam and dad this morning, though dad was asleep most of the time, mam was happy to see little lad though very confused about where she lives, I warned her I'll probably not get down tomorrow as it's meant to be so windy and took her plenty of fruit.
My new sofas arrived and look lovely though I've got throws over them for little lads soggy fingers. I expected them to be wrapped in plastic, but they were in huge boxes and me and my friend had such a job getting them unpacked, I had to throw the boxes out the front door while we got sorted. They're now at the bottom of the back garden, though may not be still there tomorrow! Today I've got a new TV coming, then that's my spending done for a little while, myself and my 2 brothers got a third of the money each when mam and dads house was sold…mam's enjoying hearing what we're buying….though not my older brother who hasn't even thanked them!
This one is bigger, so I should be able to see the text messages that seem to be a part of the story in a lot of programmes! We broke up for half term yesterday, the rain was teeming down at home time.
Redruby Snap…I've got a pan of carrot and coriander soup cooking too. I've got half a packet of crumble mix, so I might do a peach crumble for pudding.
Hope everyone is ok and stays safe in the storms, the wind is just starting to pick up here x
