Can't log in to buy monthly parking permit

faringdon

Hi,

I wish to buy a monthly parking permit for Torbay council. I work here as a contractor and paying night by night is £10-£11 per day. The monthly permit is £76.

However, i have been trying to log in and apply for a permit for the last hour, and the site is just too slow and crashes. I noted that it said that they would need evidence that i was safe to sell a permit to…and this vetting takes 15 days. Why is this?…..nobody vets me for my night by night stays.

The delays certainly make the council more money.

Email the councillor for that area.

Is the monthly permit for residents? Just had a look and it said people still need to supply proof of residency on a yearly
basis which can take 15 days.

It also says you can buy permits from the machines but if you need to use the carpark it will take 24 hours to add your
reg to the system but I would give them more like 48 hours just in case.

I did not log in to choose which carpark etc.
