EOn Next - normally in past allowed internal swaps in the same way BG, SP at least used to etc - but I'd read the terms as these are no longer normal times.
Unfortunately if you sign up through a third party Eon fees are not transparent until you have signed up but you would find out in the welcome e-mail which comes almost immediately so well within the cooling off period. I am on the ms(e) 12 mth exc v8 and can switch internally fee free, a relative is on v9 and the fee applies. The Eon web site does though show when the fees apply if you click "show full rates"
You're on our Next Fixed 12m Exclusive v8 tariff. Prices are fixed for 12 months on this tariff. You'll need to manage your account online. An exit fee of £50 per fuel will be applied if you change supplier before your tariff end date.
You're on our Next Fixed 12m Exclusive v9 tariff. Prices are fixed for 12 months on this tariff. You'll need to manage your account online. This tariff includes an exit fee of £50 per fuel if you switch to another tariff or supplier before your tariff end date.
(edited to reflect the difference between the Eon web site and third party referral sites which just show the fee without under which conditions they apply)
Never associate with idiots on their own level, because, being an intelligent man, you'll try to deal with them on their level - and on their level they'll beat you every time.
Being hated by idiots is the price you pay for not being one of them.

Thanks for that v8 to v9 fee terms switch.
during last crisis conditions and after as unwound levels of exit fee when returned seemed to be changing.
Not really surprised suppliers trying to lock folk in more. Not that theres much sign of significant drops until Jul in that mse future cap predictions article (but still higger than now c£2000 from eon+edf averages). At c10d old supplier est as of tge 15th Oct update - MSE article currently at +25% Jan +2% Apr, -9.8% Jul
Often thought a fees workaround was fix to var then switch away seemed possible I guess to avovid fees (unless theres some condition have to stay variable until end of old fix - but dont remember one at SP - but i was fix to fixing for parents then ??)

Next Fixed 12m v163 offered via Eon Next website states - "Exit fees (if you change energy supplier before the end date")
Next Fixed 24m v79 offered via Eon Next website states - "Exit fees if you change energy supplier or change tariff before the end date"
SP still state no exit fees for change of tariff.
- 12 month fixed - no exit fees. - electricity unit rate not unreasonable compared with larger suppliers.
Worth a look if can minimise 4pm-7pm usage - no exit fees -
