Ah another "I want to force them to supply my item" post.

OP there have been loads of these over the years. Assuming this is for Amazon UK and not US, you won't get what you're looking for. What you could do is through the court system go and argue something about some frustration of contract. "My lawn wasn't edged before Autumn ended and it's cost me xxxx in mental anguish and finding another edger" In reality you'd be entitled to a full refund which you already have, and possibly a tiny amount of compo, doubtless much less than you'd spend on legal advice and energy.

Bear in mind Amazon have the most sophisticated logistics system in the world, by miles. It occasionally fails.

For next time, my experience is that whenever there is a delay in Amazon delivering (without a firm date), I immediately cancel. It always seems to end like the situation above. On occasion I've had the item delivered weeks later, and when I contact Amazon they tell me just to keep it as goodwill.
