Barclays Switch/App

I'd like to switch to Barclays who are offering £600 in one of their switches but I can't get the app on a tablet (and don't have a smartphone, believe it or not). MSE does not mention this; did anyone else notice it? Are Barclays aware of it?

Also, for anyone who has done this switch: MSE says on the one hand that this is for people on £5000+ per month then, on the other, for those on £75000+ per year. But £75000+ per year is not necessarily quite £5000 per month. So which is it?

Barclays’ app works on my iPad. Are you using a very old tablet whose OS is incompatible with the app?

The Barclays website clearly says £5k a month

The £75k gross annual income (or £100k in investments or a mixture of both) is the requirement to open a Premier account.

The £5k per month in salary payments is the requirement for the switch offer (£5k in salary within 30 days of opening the account) and the Engagement Rewards offer (£5k in salary payments per month).

My tablet is a brand new Samsung Galaxy A11 Android. There are several Barclays apps, the relevant one is Barclays Services Limited. I just tried it again and the message reads 'Your device isn't compatible with this version.' Actually, scrolling down after trying again there are many complaints about the incompatibility of this Barclays app.
