Halifax clarity credit card now Lloyds

Halifax moved to Lloyds.

For the Clarity credit card which I always use abroad due to great/nil fees as historically recommended by MSE :-) , will the new card have exactly the same benefits abroad ? Thanks

which new card?

the lloyds equivalent is the 'ultra', which is essentially the same plus cashback. so effectively better.

theres no indication as yet that clarity cards will be migrated to ultra in time.

It’s worth bearing in mind that Lloyds offering the Ultra card doesn’t necessarily mean existing Halifax Clarity cards will be replaced or that customers will be moved over to the new product. I’d keep an eye on official updates from Lloyds and Halifax to see whether anything is actually changing for existing Clarity cardholders.

If they wanted to vary your terms, they would have had to tell you, and you would have had the option to opt out by closing the account.

I keep getting emails telling me to migrate over to Lloyds on the website and app.

I seemingly need to click on "Get Started" but I have yet to see it this on the website or the app.

I made an enquiry when I would see this "Get Started" and all I got was £25 added to my account.

Do you not see this splash page when you sign into the Halifax app? I know it doesn't say "Get Started" but the meanig is pretty obvious.
