Help to fit a wooden floor

Help to fit a wooden floor

Years ago I ascertained some hard wood flooring from my company, it was originally laid in 1973. I carefully removed the flooring also keeping some of the clasp nails. Now I intend to fit the flooring to my room and find I need more nails, searched online also building suppliers with no joy, estimated quantity 200+ required. I also need some guidance on where to start from, do I butt up to the patio door and work from there, the wood is tongue and groove photos enclosed.

Any help would be most appreciated.

50mm clasp nails are available from places like Screwfix, not exactly the same but you won’t notice once hammered down. Personally I would look at concealed screw fixing rather than nails.

You can also get flooring brad nails, or rosehead nails for an older look.
