Bathroom Flooring (Old wet room)

Hi all,

I wonder if anyone has any advice on if this is possible, how much it would cost or if even possible.

Me and my partner just moved home and the bathroom was converted from a wet room to a standard bathroom aside from the flooring. The previous tenant had attempted to lay vinyl flooring, but it's outdated and it curves as it goes to the wall instead of being flat. I understand that's the nature of a wet room floor, but the job that was done does not look good. I wanted to know if there's a way to make it look seamless via DIY and what kind of approach would you take or is there a way the floor can be changed and what kind of cost that would roughly involve? It is a council so we may be restricted in options. Just wanted to ask because she would love a flawless bathroom to relax in after a hard day, nice bubble bath and all zen.

Any help would be great. Thanks
