Sky keep lying to me about my new contract

Honestly, I've run out of bad words to call Sky. But for all I want to complain about the impossibility of simply talking to them.... I want to take a specific complaint as high as I can.

My TV and Full Fibre 150 has been £65.49, with many reductions ending in November. So, on 6th October, I spoke to someone over the phone and she stopped a huge increase.... I was happy with the £71.49.

But, two weeks later, My Sky still hadn't updated, which concerned me. Therefore, I had a long Chat discussion this afternoon, and it felt like the apologetic guy had eventually put this to bed, with it totalling £71.99.... an extra 50p, fine, let's just end this.

Yet I look on MySky and 'future billing' looks even worse, I think I'm being charged lots of extra fees. I just don't get it. Why can't people just do their jobs correctly?

Is there a phone number for complaints, where that person can finally stop the nonsense?

  • Hello

You are certainly not alone in this—many subscribers face the exact same headache of being quoted one figure, only for the subsequent bill to arrive at a higher rate.

Our experience required numerous phone calls and several broken promises before we finally reached an exceptional customer care representative. She was as good as her word, provided her full name and details, and even credited us with a free month of TV, broadband, and phone services IIRC. Ultimately, securing a resolution often comes down to the luck of the draw and who handles your case.

My rule of thumb is to log every interaction: the date, time, agent’s name, department, and call centre location. To Sky’s credit, in my experience, they maintain accurate call logs that can verify these details when challenged.

Their code of practice explains what to do if your complaint is not resolved by Sky.

    Might be of use.
