Data Only Sim (For use in a Router)
Hello
Does anyone know if it is possible to buy a DATA Only Sim from Lebara and use this in a dedicated Sim only Router?
If this is not possible - where would be my cheapest option for a Sim for my Router?
Many thanks.

I 2nd what Sammy has put.
HotUKDeals have a lot of these scancom offers and Amazon so also.
Only issue is do you know how much data you use per month?
What is the router going to be used for, sky stream, TV streaming services, CCTV cams oor general web use?
The above will help you decide what data amount you require.
Above link to a deal that maybe valid or not
I have never used them so so you're own research.

I ordered one of these Thursday of last week, following a link on another thread. It was posted PM Thursday & on the way via 1st class post and hopefully arriving in today's post
I will use it in a dedicated SIM only router, which I have already confirmed works using a trial 3 SIM. [ID network]
I watch some Amazon stuff & bit of YouTube, plus bog standard internet, like MSE browsing. No games, tik tok etc and the ID / 3 SIM / was fine for that.
When SIM arrives I'll update this post with result. Hopefully today

I have a couple of EE data only SIMs from Scancom via Amazon. They work absolutely fine and we are on the 4th or 5th ones. I picked EE SIMs as where the modems are located EE has 5G and other networks appear to only currently offer 4G.
A "3" SIM would be less expensive but here both 3 and Voda only offer 4G.
The routers are TP-Link AX1800/Archer NX200 5G. With these you can remotely access the router with a mobile phone app and see how much data is left for the month, this is a modem data reading not the network.

No, as Lebara don't offer data-only SIMs.

You can use a regular Lebara SIM in a 4/5G router.

The SIM arrived today, Tuesday, despite first class posting last Thursday. However that is due to the Post office & no one else
Came as 3 branded & packaged. Popped SIM out & into the Mercusys router and it worked as intended, plug & play.
So far seems to work much the same as my Now BB, tried YT & Amazon video, and some browsing. I'll give it a few more days trial and before I cancel my Now BB & phone.
