Problem with eBay
Back in March I ordered an item on eBay, paid the asking price and sat back and looked forward to receiving it.
Sadly this wasn't to be - initially the seller said there was a delay in sending the item. This went on fo some time until I decided enough was enough and contacted the seller to ask for a Refund. I was gobsmacked when the seller declined the request.
I have tried escalating further on eBay but just seem to be going around in a circle with the AI .
I have tried contacting the seller again (it is now over 6 months since the initial order) but they are not responding. I am at my withs end, okay it's only £35 but it still matters to me.
Any advice or suggestions greatfully received.

Think you'll need to explain what you mean by "going around in a circle", as it sounds like a straightforward item not received case?

I think it relates back to the length of time since the order.
When I go to the report Item not received section it shows me a list of recent purchases which doesn't include the Not Received item - when I click on my Purchased items the item is there with the following info

Clicking on "Buyer Protection" basically just tells you what Buyer Protection can do.
Clicking on "More Actions" gives options to "Buy Similar", "Contact Seller", "Sell One Like This" or "View All Details" (View All Details just shows me the Date & Time of the Purchase and that the Auction has ended.
In the Other Actions "See Cancellation Details" just tells me that the Buyer has declined my request to cancel the Purchase (although I still retain the right to Return it within 30 days of receipt)
I think the problem is that as the item hasn't been dispatched I can't return it and, as it is now over 6 months ago, eBay doesn't recognise that it hasn't been received.

You must redact all links to the personal details of the seller.
That's a serious breach of MSE's rules. Do it now!
I see from what you have posted that the seller is in Poland, is a private seller and has steadily sold one or two football shirts a week for many years.
Do you think your shirt might be stuck in customs?

If this was bought 6 months ago then you are way outside the eBay buyer protection window which is 30 days from the last estimated delivery date. If you had been within the 30 days it would have been a simple INR which, without proof of delivery from the seller , you would have won easily.
Depending on how you paid there is a slim chance of using protection offered by that payment method to get your money back.

Sadly when the seller told you there was a delay in dispatching the item you should have demanded a refund and asked the seller to relist when they were able to dispatch. If they refused then you would report 'item not received' as soon as the last estimated delivery date had passed.
What reasons has the seller given for the delay?
Unfortunately I don’t think you even have the option to leave feedback now, as that has a 90 day time limit.
