COMPLETE SAVINGS

I have just noticed that my husband has been charged £18 per month by complete savings since March 2026. I have cancelled the payments and contacted them to ask for a full refund.

They have replied refusing to do so and stating my husband signed voluntarily. He has no recollection of doing this but he must have???

s there anyway to get a refund of what we have paid??

Thanks

Don't take No for an answer. My son recently had this happen to him and he also had no recollection of signing up. After using this template letter he's since had a full refund. Martin has been banging on about this dreadful company for years. Good luck.

Be kind to others and to yourself too.

He will have clicked on link promising 'cashback' after making a purchase, committing to a monthly subscription.

There are lots of threads on here about Complete Savings.

In fact there's one just under yours where it seems CS are now playing hardball with people who ask for refunds.

That thread was started by someone who had been paying CS monthly for an eye-watering 11 years before noticing.

In that thread (page 1) I give a link to a 2025 MSE article about Complete Savings with a further link dated 2024 within that article.

I have seen that click box many times after making a purchase and personally, it's always been clear to me that it is a monthly subscription.

But I am always careful to read everything before clicking on a link to an unknown company.

Other posters who do knowingly use CS for cashback have posted that - despite the monthly subscription costs - they do actually save money.

These clubs/schemes are often called a scam. They aren't - quite. But they are so close as to be indistinguishable.

    Fill this in:

    https://www.completesavings.co.uk/Home/BillingDescriptor

Email: cancel@completesavings.co.uk just to double down.

And just to add I attribute a lot of the blame to the big, "well respected" companies who participate in this where, after checking out, the site pops up saying "Save £30 on your next shop by clicking here". It's not immediately obvious that you're then dealing with a totally separate company. Asda I'm looking at you.
