I'm not sure an electrical retailer is a good option with the credit crunch and if the country is on the edge of recession.

Most shares have dropped a lot over the last 6 months. Particularly medium sized or smaller companies. I havent looked at their price but has it fallen much more than the market average or in line with market average?

It's worth investing if you have good reason to believe that the share price will rise. It's not worth investing if you think the share price will fall, and it's almost certainly not worth investing if you're just doing so because the prices have fallen recently and you're hoping they'll rise back up again.

You won't find much more specific tips than that on this forum, as offering advice on what to do with shares is against forum and FSA rules. However, general tips like those above can help you make the right decision rather than going with gut feeling.
