Suffolksue

I’m back !Thanks for all the good wishes ,awful traffic both ways took 4 hrs from my part of Suffolk (Gainsborough’s town ) crawled along the A12 into central London.And 3 hrs on the way back

It was awesome!

Timed tickets ,asked the attendant when to start queuing before and she said 5 min so we did,they didn’t tell us you queue when you actually get in to the area ! Like airline check in ,then there is a further slow queue through very interesting information boards before you enter the actual room with the tapestry!

Although you have to keep moving it is a slow shuffle ( reminded me of the Vatican Shuffle to the Sistine Chapel!)

But it’s so worth it ,it really is stupendous

All told we were in the actual exhibition for 2 hrs .Really felt the loss of DH ,as it had always been on our list ,but sadly never happened.

Got out ( through the shop !) just before the museum shut early to prepare for an event ,then another 3 hrs home.

Just had 2 mugs tea and a crumpet and off to bed

If you get the chance I thoroughly recommend a visit
