As of last week the Chelsea have increased the maximum investment in their 5.25% sort-of instant access Rainy Day Savings Account from £25k to £100k. Very nice too - it would also be nice if they sent out instant notification to investors and not rely on them seeing the change in-branch or, like me, on their web-site - and only then by re-reading details of the account to clarify a separate matter. I am a huge fan of the Chelsea but this sort of unannounced change does annoy me. Still be grateful for a good BS with good accounts and good rates.
