More about those archive.** sites
Hi
Couple of weeks ago I had problems connecting to archive.** sites.
Such as archive.is and archive.ph etc.
Info —>
I submitted a post to MSE Forum (now deleted).
For me, Lebara had decided those archive sites might be used to archive adult web pages.
They cr@pped themselves and intercepted my requests, tried to redirect me to a different site instead.
My web browsers don't allow such nonsense, they interrupt the attempted hijack.
It was a confusing post (hence deleted).
Some people had same problem as me.
Some people had no problem at all.
But, for me, those archive sites are now working OK. 😁
It's a puzzle I can't explain.
Maybe Lebara/Vodafone have been tweaking things and messing me about.
I dunno. 😯
Previously…
And now…

I had never tried to access those sites on mobile prior to reading your original thread. Like you I couldn't do it.
Still can't. Not particularly bothered but interesting that things have changed for you.

I thought I would give this a go on Lebara and see ifbit was available with and without my VPN. Well using Firefox on Android it worked with no VPN, so who knows what was going on.

Almost certainly a DNS issue.
This happens occasionally, it tends to fix itself after a while. Can be ISP or routing related.0
