Parking fine - Asda parking lot Horizon Parking

Hello everyone. My father recently got a parking fine for entering an ASDA from Horizon parking at [20:20] on [29/09/2026] and leaving at [14:54] on [30/09/2026], so he stayed for 18 hours according to them. However, he didn't stay for 18 hours and I have ring video footage of his van at home with the license plate visible at [20:26] on [29/09/2026], 6 minutes after he entered the parking lot, and also at a bunch of different times after that before [14:54] the next day. Will the ring camera footage with the timestamp [20:26] be enough, or will they spin some story that I edited the photo and that I added the timestamp? (Ring automatically adds the date and time during videos when you save them from the app).

Not sure about Asda contracting Horizon Parking but when Parking Eye claimed my pardner had been at an Asda for 23 hours - the so-called double dip - a sharp letter to the Asda ceo with some evidence, in our case a parking receipt showing the vehicle's reg details on the same date at a different location, brought about a swift cancellation. The appropriate address can be found online. Google is you friend. Sometimes.
