Comet say tv no longer avaible what are my rights??

I ordered a tv on the 27/12 and was told by the manager no probs for del but would have to be the 12th Jan! That was ok with us. I have had a call to day to tell me that it is no longer in stock so will not be getting my TV!!! What are my Rights??? The item has been paid for and a contact agreed. Are the liable to supply atv of same or greater qualility???

They don't have to do anything except refund you your money to put you back into the same financial situation. You could ask for a different TV of the same spec but I'm struggling to work out why you believe you'd be entitled to a TV of better spec than the one you paid for?0

ifs it not in then you just get another tv of the same price that you originally paid for or your money back0

thank you for all the advice and info. I went last night and spoke to the manager (who I had placed the order with in the first place!!) and its now all sorted I will be getting the tv I ordered just not on sat!!£2 saver club started 20th Oct £54:j0
