Afternoon, I've made it home with a detour to the GP surgery for my 'flu jag. I was nowhere near the appointment time but was taken anyway, saved me going home and back out again.
The hospital appointment was really good, it's wasn't for what I thought, seems that two referrals were melded by the medics. I'm not going into details on the forum but am now down to have my troublesome TVT removed after an MRI. No idea of timescales, I waited a year for this appointment so I'm not holding my breath, I'm just so happy to be on the list.
I did a little bit of supermarket shopping in Glasgow, indulged in Wait…e and my time with Alan was good too. The drive back was smooth and problem free. All in all a successful weekend. I'll catch up with all the news after lunch. Hope that all are well and warm. xx

Hello All
Late one from me. Just started drizzling but was sunny this morning not the heavy rain we thought last night.
Gers glad the referral was better than you thought and that you had a good time with Allen.
Snoozer hope DH is sorted soon. Always difficult when other conditions have to be taken into account.
My ex DH was in Papworth when he had his heart attack nearly 2 years ago when he stayed with us. It is a very different hospital to the original Papworth. My Dmum was treated in the original in the 1970s.
Remmie I read your post about the lady who demanded your DH sent you to the village group and have to admit I ground my teeth on your behalf. It reminds me if a friend who told me my life was too insular as I enjoy my knitting and crochet and didn't go out to lots of local groups. We are all our own characters and should do as we please.
Hope the poorlies feel better soon hugs to all who need them.
