@TravellingAbuela im recommending this airfryer as its neat and compact and does pizzas. My son has it and thinks its brilliant. Its £69.

If you are thinking about a ninja, then check out the ninja clearance ebay shop. Half price on there and a few family members have bought from them and they are delighted.

I have one of these air fryers - I find it so much easier to use than my oven.

Afternoon all, thanks for the start @Gers. Safe journey, I hope all goes well and that you get on OK with the heart monitor.

@TravellingAbuela - I know that feeling of being bewildered by too many choices! It seems we all have our preferred models of air fryers but maybe something to keep in mind is to ask yourself what you will use it for. Although I haven't used mine much yet, I can see the oven potentially being made redundant!

@remmie - Poor old dog, he'll be much missed when the time comes.

@camelot1001 - Enjoy your week's break, I expect it's needed. Half term here isn't for another two weeks.

@snoozer - Wow, that's short notice but less time to worry, I suppose. Best wishes to you and Steve.

Yesterday turned out to be an ideal laundry drying day, just a shame I've left it until today! 🙄 Today is turning out to be a day of sunshine and showers with outside highs of just 10 deg. And around 6 deg overnight. I definitely need a hot water bottle for my bed!

I wrote out my shopping list yesterday and reviewed it this morning before I placed the order. All I can say is it's a good job I added household stuff otherwise I wouldn't have reached the minimum requirement for a cheaper delivery. This afternoon I'll be giving the bathroom a good clean, there are some potato cakes to make and then it will be a case of whatever takes my fancy. Tea tonight is a Thai green chicken curry with rice, no idea about afters although I'm fancying a sliced banana with custard.

Have a good day all, enjoy your weekend. xx

Hi everyone. New to the forum so hopefully am getting this right.

Today I had a nice lie in and went for a Costa after lunch. Was meant to pick up a parcel from the Post Office but unfortunately it had closed by the time I got there!

Now contemplating the lovely pizza I am going to have this evening while relaxing and doing absolutely nothing. DH and DS 1 and 2 are all suspiciously quite in the house somewhere…!

I love these kinds of Saturdays when I am able to just completely chill out.

You are in the perfect place for day to day chat. Look forward to hearing more about you and your family. Any hint, tips or ideas you may have will be a bonus! Enjoy your pizza and your relaxing evening. I will have my feet up watching Strictly whilst munching on a bag of sweeties that jumped into my trolley whilst shopping at lunchtime!
