Morning, thanks Gers.
Still dark but I can see it's rained overnight.
Yesterday was an ok day, had my jabs, did a bit of shopping, and some housework.
I was making a card for a friend's birthday, and I finished that, it's looking quite nice.
Hope everyone is all right and has a good day. Take care folks.

Morning All
Thanks for the start Gers.
Hope you're ok after your jabs Scarlet.
Damp and breezy this morning, seems very dark. Last day for a week thank goodness, this show has taken over the whole school and it's all been a bit mad. Our HT isn't coping very well - she says she's very tired! Poor soul.
Had a haircut last night, it seems a bit short but it always goes into some sort of shock after it's been cut, hopefully it will settle down soon.
Hope your broadband is ok YL, so many household gadgets need it these days.
Fingers crossed you're feeling better today TA. Coxy's DDad too.
Enjoy your rest Allie.
Stand firm Ruby, you're worth every penny.
Must dash, lots to do. Take care. XX

Morning folks and thanks GERS. It looks wet outside here too and the forecast is not much better, although it is milder so that's something I suppose.
Nothing other than the Friday Tidy in store here in Casa Abuela. A light wash to do too so that will go over the airer upstairs with the dehumidifier doing its job.
I managed to keep awake all day yesterday and only had one coughing fit so maybe the bug is thinking of moving on. It's a strange one with so many different symptoms.
Have a good day folks if you can with ((HUGS)) for our poorlies, sad or lonely. Take care all, be safe x

Morning all and thanks for the start @Gers x Glad you have been offered an appointment for this weekend.
DDad a little better. I will pick up the AB’s today as DSis didn’t manage it. We have a quiet day today at home. It’s a bit damp so no point taking him out just for the sake of it.
Hope the show goes well @camelot1001 xOooh Budapest @RedRuby1231 how wonderful 😊😊
Have a good day all

hi all
Happy Friday
I managed a four mile flat walk yesterday though my ankle ached a bit afterwards but was pleased I did that distance. Wobbly terrain is a different matter. Very windy and rainy during the night but will have another walk in the other direction from the site today.
My watch says I slept for 8.5 hours last night and I’d had a nap as well!Take care all

Morning everyone
I had no idea you could make cheese on toast in an air fryer, or even just toast!
It's been raining all night here, the sun is meant to get out later and be a nice day. I worked on Wednesday so I could have yesterday off to look after little lad for DD as she was on a first aid course, he was no bother and his pushchair was a great help with the shopping! Little one is coming home with me after school, though she'll have to leave earlier than usual tomorrow as I'm getting my hair cut and coloured at lunchtime. Not my favourite thing to do to be honest but the white and grey needs covered.
I'll go down to see mam and dad this morning before I go to work.
Always Allie - you must have been ready for the break
Redruby I'd love to go to Budapest, eldest dd has been and loved it
I'll have to get my flu jab booked, I had a text about it a few days ago. Right I'll make my lunch and get ready - hope everyone has a good day x

Morning all
It’s been raining overnight and it looks like we may have more today. DD and I were meant to be taking mum out today as mum wants to buy dd some curtains for her lounge it’s been planned for ages and mum was so excited but she has just called to say she is unwell, I’m not sure she is but I just think she is too frail now 😢 I’m not sure if dd and I will still go but I will talk to dd once she is up.
Pizza and salad for dinner tonight nice and easy. I have put a towel wash on this morning but it will have to go on the airer.
Yesterday I went to empty the water out of the TD and knocked a bottle of wine off of the rack it hit the floor and smashed - glass and wine everywhere 😩it took a long time to clear it all up and there is still a slight whiff of wine 🙄
Have good days all and take care xx

A bit wet and windy this morning
Just back from shopping and feeling jaded. Thought this bug had just about gone except for the cough but I'm not back to 100% yet it seems. Cough medicine seems to be giving me a gippy tummy too!
When looking for air fryer recipes in the past I found one for cooking eggs in their shells. Who will be the first one on here to try it, cos it won't be me 😂
Have a good day all x

This is a fly-by! I've been out into the small town to collect meds from the vending machine and took away rubbish. I've got a few chores to do here which I want to finish before tomorrow.
I hope all are doing well despite ongoing health problems, unfortunately it's the season for it. My 'flu jag is on Monday, it was scheduled for the morning so I've been on the NHS portal to change it to the afternoon as I'll be in Glasgow. I don't think it matters much what time I turn up as it's run by a room of nurses who take each person in turn once they're booked in.
Take care all, keep warm. xx

CHRISCA it won't be me either! I haven't forgotten the mess in the microwave after trying to poach an egg in it. I thought what a good idea and followed the instructions religiously and yet it still exploded!
All the chat on here recently about air fryers has lead to me browsing and tempted to spend! Mine is just a basic one and as it's now about 6 years old I'm thinking it may soon be living on borrowed time. I haven't the kitchen space for a large all singing all dancing model but I'm telling myself if I upgraded to a model with a grill it could replace the toaster. I don't need a big 4 slice one these day.
