Morning all, thanks for the start @ScarletRibbons.
We had more sunshine than expected yesterday (always welcome) but by 'eck, it was a cold start this morning even though the sun was out. There was a small amount of condensation on the bottom of the windows when I got up so I'm going to put the timer on for first thing in the mornings. Can't be doing with a cold start to the day - especially in the bathroom! 😁 Time to make the house (and me) winter-cosy.
@TravellingAbuela - Whatever the reason for yesterday's tiredness, I'm glad you're feeling better today.
@Coxy11 - I can understand how relieved you were that your DDad doesn't have pneumonia and I hope his ABs kick in quickly.
@AlwaysAllie - Enjoy your break away in the campervan. Nothing wrong with a good sleep either.
@Gers - Good news on Sunday's hospital appointment offer, hope all goes well. That's a fantastic weight loss too. With that and the brow tidy you must be like a new woman! 😄
@RedRuby1231 - I have my fingers crossed the lady can work something out pay-wise that's good for you both.
My new air fryer arrived yesterday afternoon and the first challenge was getting the thing out of the box. 🙄 Very well packaged and heavier than I thought but it's now on the kitchen worktop and this morning I've used it for toast and to bake a couple of part baked rolls for lunchtime. Small beginnings I know, but I have to start somewhere! It's easy enough to use and came with a set-up/user guide but no recipe book, so getting temperatures and timings right could be trial and error. I won't be using it for tonight's tea as that's going to be a use-up meal of a ham & mushroom pasta dish. Thanks @Gers for the mention of The Good Food website, I'll be taking a look on there for inspiration.
My current broadband provider is being taken over by BT soon when I'll need to be moved from a copper wire connection to full fibre so I've booked a home engineer appointment to make it all to happen at the end of this month. Cue many texts and emails (from BT/EE and current provider) for me to read and digest. Probably a coincidence, but I had no end of problems yesterday with my internet connection dropping out, both for laptop and TV use; I'm afraid I'm not the world's best at techie stuff so found it incredibly frustrating. All seems to be working today so I have everything crossed it stays that way!
Here's hoping everyone has a good day, usual healing wishes for the poorly ones. Take care, stay safe. xx

Air fryers make amazing cheese on toast!

For air fryer newbies, a general rule of thumb is 10° less than fan and 5-10 minutes less time (depending on size / time stated)

Just a quick pop in to post this there's a ham and cheese toastie recipe in there! Leaving out the ham wouldn't be a problem.
